FM GRU Tower Cranes were established in the year 1920. This family run business, FMgru, is found in the largest industrial place in northern Italy. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into an industrial and manufacturing economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in constructing bridges for roads, pylons to convey electricity, different kinds of forklifts, presses, prefabrication molds and farming machines.
The company started crane production in the year 1963. Eventually, the company pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest level of specialization in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru sells and makes 4 series of high quality tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for a variety of uses and there are available models which can cover all construction requirements.
Several models offer really flexible lifting options for companies that are constructing small buildings and private houses. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other units include topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and extremely adaptable. They are great for minimizing interferences when there are numerous cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg and a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. There are regular tower cranes which have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes by FMgru have a 12000 kg capacity and 50 meter long jibs. These cranes are particularly designed to work in restricted sites and on high-rise projects where buildings are located in close proximity to each other.
